Special Edition: Lipstick & Dynamite
The show was a documentary about Women Professional Wrestling focusing mostly on early Women Wrestlers. It was interesting seeing how women were portrayed back in the mid-twentieth century. Even in the ring, the women had to portray the lady-like image. Women Wrestlers were wearing dresses, had their hair fixed, and more while they wrestled in their matches. This is ironic because women were labeled as inferior, weak, belong in the kitchen, cook dinner, and take care of the kids while the men work. However, these women were the start of something big. These women did not follow the typically image. They were reinventing themselves. Some men called them "pigs" others had much respect for these women. Today, we see women wrestlers that look anything, but lady-like. If anything they look tough, but slutty. The image of women wrestlers have changed throughout the year. "The Great Moolah," was as some of the other ladies put it, "one tough broad." She was a women wrestling world champion for numerous years. She even eventually began managing other women wrestlers and training. She was a major competitor against Billy Wolfe, a women wrestler promoter. For the longest time, he ruled the sport. If you wanted to be big, then you had to go with Billy Wolfe. Billy seemed stereotypically manager. He took a giant percentage of the women's earnings, and even became sexually involved with many of them. This is because he had the power and used that to get what he wanted out of the women wrestlers. Eventually, "the Great Moolah" ran him into the ground. She even started the current WWF that we see on television today. Many of the women wrestlers back then got there start from being the "pusher" on a rollerball team or were recruited from the carnival. These women were not ordinary, they were much more. They were women wrestlers.

Week 7
Gate 2
The man waited eagerly at Gate 2. It was a bright sunny winter morning. The man checked his watch it was 11:43am. He placed his hands back into his black leather jacket. Fifteen more minutes till her plan arrive.
The woman was listening to her ipod then noticed the fasten seat belt light went off. A smile came across the brunettes face as she took the ear plugs out of her ears and fastened her belt. The woman looked at her silver watch. It was 11:43am. The plane began its descent.
The man looked over his shoulder and seen an old man and old women in their electric wheel chair roll up. The old man yelled at his wife asking her if she remember to lock the door and turned off the oven when they left the house. The old woman replied, “What!” The man repeated himself followed by the old woman replying the same word. The man went back to checking his watch. People began walking down the main hall.
The woman got off the plan and grabbed her one carry on. She walked faster and faster as every second went by. She was looking up and noticed she was close to Gate 2. She continued walking faster. The excitement was flowing in her body. She saw her man. It has been two months since she saw him. “Hey,” she yelled. The man looked up. She began running and jumped into his arms. “Hey,” he replied slowly with excitement. “It’s been so long I missed you, she said. “Me to. I am happy to see you,” he stated.
The women reached into her bag. “I got you the leather jacket you wanted” The man eyes widened. “AWESOME!”
“I have a second surprise too.” The man’s eyebrows rose with curiosity. “I am pregnant. Were having twins,” she laughed with happiness as she jumped into his arms. The man didn’t move. He slowly hugged her back. “Oooo, cool,” he said. There was not much excitement. The man quickly smiled an attempt to save an argument next to the old loud woman and man due to his lack of excitement after hearing his woman was pregnant. He said, “This is so exciting, I am going to be a dad.”
“Yeah, you are. Let’s get to the car. I could use a shower” She began skipping ahead as he slowly walked. The exit door opened. She skipped out to the street then turned around at him while walking backwards. “It’s beautiful out. I love being back home,” she looked at him. “Come on, lighten up. Aren’t you,” a yellow Volkswagen beetle suddenly hit her.
The man’s face went blank and eyebrows rose. “OOOO,” he said softly as he ran to her.
